Peli 1740 Protector Case
The Peli 1740 Protector Case is a long waterproof case with wheels and fold-down handles making it easy for one person to transport. The case is available with a 6 piece foam set, ideal for storing large, long equipment.
From stargazing at the top of Mount Everest to a photoshoot in the forests of the Amazon, the Peli 1740 is your ideal method for protecting a telescope, jackhammer, rifles, chainsaw, tripods and lights, and other long shaped gear.
Peli developed the 1740 case for one-person transportation however, the case also comes with two rugged double-wide handles for team lifting and easy steering. The case’s depth and length allow for maximum storage possibilities. Wide-track polyurethane wheels (for stable mobility) with ball bearings and nylon hubs ensure extended towing durability. Designed to be moved manually or stacked on pallets, the Peli 1740 features four extra-deep base-to-lid locking cleats that ensure maximum stacking stability. Like all Peli cases, standard features include a dustproof and watertight seal.
As with nearly every Peli case, the Peli 1740 is waterproof, dustproof and crushproof. It has six secure double-step latches, two rugged double-wide handles and wide-track polyurethane wheels with ball bearings and nylon hubs.
The four extra-deep base-to-lid locking cleats ensure maximum stacking stability.
The o-ring seal keeps this case watertight (rated IP67) and there are two pressure equalisation valves which equalise the interior air pressure whilst keeping water out.
