We have a strong team headed by Managing Director, Keith Judson, who was formerly a research engineer with a large electronics company.

It was during this period of his career that the idea for 'Protechnic' was first conceived. As a research engineer, it was necessary to demonstrate a revolutionary measurement system incorporating leading edge laser technology. At that time, it was extremely difficult to find an appropriate means of safely transporting an expensive and delicate item. Without adequate protection, some damage was eventually sustained and an important client demonstration had to be aborted.

That was the catalyst that gave birth to the company.

Since then, Protechnic has been meeting the exacting needs of a vast range of industries with cases specifically designed to ensure maximum protection.

Internal fittings can range from simple foam lining to full CNC machine routed foam inserts. A wide range of foam densities can be offered to provide the best shock resistance.

The company offers innovation and design experience coupled with considerable manufacturing facilities and the ability to provide custom designs as well as a vast range of standard transit, demonstration and instrument cases. Extensive use is made of Computer Aided Design, which gives the opportunity to visualise the design before production.

Recent developments include the introduction of the Smart Case and the commissioning of our in-house CNC facility. This together with our existing case manufacturing and screen-printing facilities enables Protechnic to offer a quick and reliable service and consistently exceed customer expectation.
